Job Overview: The JDE Developer is responsible for designing and implementing enhancements, reports, and interfaces programs utilizing the JD Edwards developer toolkit. This position serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) resource for JD Enterprise One (JDE), supporting processes and implementing improvements. The responsibilities of the JDE Developer include gathering business requirements and implementing a global standard design for the Global Systems Implementation of JDE enhancements, reports, and interfaces with other applications; assisting with the design and implementation of operational and system enhancements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient; ensuring JDE development deliverables are completed on time and bug-free; and based on detailed requirements, analyzing business needs, creating appropriate functional and technical designs, developing the programs, and performing testing to ensure quality of the deliverables. Additionally, the JDE Developer will ensure that JDE programs are compliant with IT Policy, build plans to enforce compliance with IT policy and standard user management processes, and have working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and project management methodologies, financial acumen, and awareness of management and analysis processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement JDE enhancements, reports, and interfaces programs. Design and implement operational and system enhancements. Ensure JDE development deliverables are completed on time and bug-free. Comply with IT Policy and enforce standard user management processes. Have working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and project management methodologies. Possess financial acumen and awareness of management and analysis processes.
