What You'll Do:

• Conduct and manage multiple Brazil tax audits, tax processes and tax reporting.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors, tax authorities and auditors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Manage external legal and tax fees and budgets related to tax support.
• Improve processes to recover direct and indirect.
• Develop and implement strategies to manage tax burdens of income taxes (IRPJ) and (CSLL) and indirect tax costs including PIS, COFINS, ISS, and more.
• Provide guidance and support to other departments on tax-related matters, including tax implications of business decisions and transactions (deal support, cross-border billings, etc.)
• Oversee transfer pricing policies and ensure compliance with intercompany transactions.
• Collaborate with corporate functions, such as Group Tax Reporting (e.g., quarter end closing, tax risk reporting).
• Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate their impact on the company’s tax position to senior management.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A master’s degree in taxation or CPA qualification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax regulations, i.e., municipal and federal tax laws and regulations.
• Experience in managing tax compliance and reporting processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative tax solutions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluent in English

Work Experience:

• Working experience in tax consulting and or tax function or accounting function.

You will be joining the LAC Tax Team of SAP's Global Tax Team, that is dedicated to managing all tax-related matters and responsible for tax compliance and strategic tax optimization within the group. This team handles a wide range of national and international tax topics, executes, and supervises tax-related projects, and sets policies for local subsidiaries. As a part of the team, you will engage with tax compliance operations using your accounting and tax expertise.
