Overview
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps CoE team within Product Development. As a DevOps Engineer at Bunge, you'll be at the forefront of our transformation. You’ll craft innovative and high-impact solutions, designing, implementing, integrating, working with our product application teams to ensure seamless and efficient software development and deployment, with global scope. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud platforms, automation tools, and best practices.  

Essential Functions

• Consult and work with Bunge Product & Platform teams, working toward continuous improvement and enabling product application teams to more quickly stand-up workloads and leverage public cloud services.
• Join forces with our Software Development, Data Science and DevOps folks to understand their requirements and build well-architected, automated solutions, such as CI/CD, data pipelines or deployment infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform.
• Working with product application teams, consult, develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates using IaC (e.g., Terraform) to provision resources, manage configurations, and ensure consistency across the cloud use cases, from foundational provisioning of application infrastructure to desired state configuration to application installation
• Work with product application teams to continuously optimize their workloads for cost-efficiency and performance, making recommendations for resource adjustments as needed
• Lead efforts to architect and maintain Bunge platform configurations (such as network and security configurations/constructs), ensuring secure integration with the company applications.
• Participate in planning delivery team, code quality and process efficiency to improvement products and solutions 
• Consult with product application teams to implement workload monitoring.
• Implement data protection and identity access management policies to safeguard resources and data. 
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and DevOps practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Working knowledge of deployment automation solutions
• Develops plans within the Supply chain, logistic and Freight.   Is recognized as an expert in own area within the organization.  
• Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex technical concepts and align organization on decisions

• Accountable for the results of a large and/or moderately complex project(s).  Provides input on resource planning and policy development. 
• Lead the definition of coding best practices communicates it and build the processes assures its implementation.

• Can revise code and identify gaps and suggest improvements to reach best practices. 
• Applies acquired expertise to analyze and solve problems without clear precedent.  Identifies applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to solve complex problems; Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements.  Takes a new perspective on existing solutions.   
• Must possess a strategic mindset, with the ability to lead initiatives that align DevOps practices with business objectives. 
• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and capability of architecting solutions that optimize both development and operations. 
• The successful candidate will be forward-thinking, able to anticipate technological trends, and drive innovation while ensuring system reliability and efficiency at scale.
• Passionate about Business technology and excited about the impact of emerging/disruptive technologies

Requirements: 

• Bachelors degree, preferred in STEM field, or equivalent combination of education & experience, with 3-5 years Dev Ops experience
