Come be part of the Controllers Department of ExxonMobil Business Support Center Brasil Ltda. at our Global Business Center (GBC) in Curitiba, with more than 21 years of presence in the country and a workforce of ~1800 employees, that provides support to an extensive portfolio of businesses across the globe.  

What role you will play in our team

 

We are looking for Finance professionals with finance/accounting background, with experience to maintain accurate financial records, preparation of financial statements, vigilant oversight of inventory balances, proficient management of intercompany balances, practiced of cost accounting and cost flow structures and adept handling joint interest billings. We are a multinational company and we are constantly looking for opportunities to improve our finance process through continuous improvement mindset.

 

 

What you will do

 

• Reflect the business transactions in the financial records
• Produce accurate and timely financial statements
• Deliver financial analysis support for the business
• Ensures accuracy of the financial reporting for ExxonMobil businesses
• Performs account reconciliations
• Reconciles inventory balances
• Maintains proper asset balances and disposition
• Ensures proper bank accounting
• Manages large number of intercompany charges
• Ensure appropriate cost flow set up and recovery
• Review and process incoming and outgoing Joint Interest Billings from/to Joint Venture Partners
• Delivers financial accounting support to the business

About you

 

Preferably 1-2 years experience in Accounting, Financing or Business Administration
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or engineering from an accredited college or university
• Analytical Skills (Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions / to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several variables)
• Advanced English language skills - high level of interfacing with internal / external customers
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
• Drive to excel
• Team player and collaboration skills
• Process orientation and understanding of work activities
• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office Tools (e.g. Word, Excel, Access) and other supporting systems
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to meet deadlines and priorities
• Continuous Improvement mindset
