Position:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team. This will be a full-time position from Monday to Friday, working on average 40 hours per week. Sporadically you will need to work on Saturdays and Sundays due to events held on weekends.

The position offers the option to work remotely.

This position will require the availability to travel within the region in order to host events and meet clients. We estimate that travelling will take up about 25% of the time, about 1 week per month. Travelling will only be needed within the region described above.

Remuneration:
€1,000.00 per Month (Payment in Euros)

Responsibilities:

  • Promote every BSBI programme (BA, BSc, MA, MSc and PhD) to students and agents
  • Call agents and students every day (must feel comfortable making phone calls)
  • Host online events such as Lives, Webinars, Videos, Stories, Reels and other promoting channels
  • Host inperson events to large crowds
  • Clearly communicate to agents and students the benefits of studying in Germany
  • Proactively research online and dedicate time to read and fully understand the most updated information from governmental institutions, news websites, and other sources of information in order to properly support your clients
  • Work independently developing new businesses everyday
  • Create and identify new opportunities and methods to find students abroad
  • Call students and ar Sale gents in a different time zone, usually outside the commercial hours
  • Use social media to promote BSBI and find new students
  • Study all material provided by BSBI to gain knowledge on programmes
  • Develop new regions by finding agencies that can represent BSBI abroad
  • Meet with agents inperson or online to kickstart a new partnership with study abroad agencies

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a sales or business development position
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese is mandatory
  • Business driven mindset delivering weekly results
  • Target driven with a focus on daily, weekly and monthly objectives
  • Comfortable working with sales targets
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to follow up with students
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively
  • Experience identifying and developing new opportunities and markets
  • Experience with Sales or Student Recruitment in the education industry or working with study abroad agencies desirable, but not required
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to follow up with clients
  • Outgoing and extrovert personality, without being afraid or shy to host presentations inperson as well as online
