Role Summary/Purpose

  • Responsible for product planning and product marketing by managing the product and solutions through the Lifecycle. Prioritize product and customer requirements. Define the product vision and goto market approach/strategy. Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Field Services to ensure successful implementation of products and solutions at the customers' fleets.
Essential Responsibilities

  • Understanding customer needs and identifying products and solution that matches their demands/requirements
  • Monitoring the market and developing competitive analyses
  • Defining a vision for a product
  • Aligning stakeholders, both internal and externally, around the vision for the product
  • Prioritizing product features and capabilities
  • Gather product data (performance, competitive intel, etc)
Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • At least 5 years of experience in industry
  • Language: fluent in English and Portuguese and desired Spanish
  • Knowledge on railway business segment
  • Ability to work on multitasks teams and influence stakeholders, both internal and externally

  • Strong problemsolving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
  • Expert in breaking down problems and estimate time for development tasks
  • Evangelizes how our technology solves customer problems from a technology and business perspective
Leadership

  • Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
  • Influences through others; builds direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas
  • Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers (Road Block) on behalf of the team
  • Shares knowledge, power, and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill
