Challenge


As a Junior Infrastructure Developer, you will help maintain the product and build fundamental architectural cornerstones that will empower the development team.

What you'll do

  • Ensure that all scalable systems remain robust while consistently delivering quick turnaround for an evergrowing stream of requests and millions of hours of content a month.
  • Benefit from backend software engineering skills, drawing on knowledge of coding and doing technical designs in highscale systems.
  • Collaborate with other team members to build something with lasting impact.
  • Work on a rapidly evolving system loaded with interesting challenges and complex problems.
In order to succeed in this position, you will need:
Mandatory skills

  • Advanced/fluent English skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Experience developing in Python and/or C# environments, as well as running Windows and Linux systems.
  • Experience in automation frameworks (such as Jenkins), and Infrastructure as Code (such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Chef).
Nice-to-have

  • Relational database knowledge developing in the data layer and writing adhoc queries.
  • Experience with migration and integration to cloud, and cloud infrastructure.
Non-technical skills

  • Passion to solve technical challenges, with a strong attention to detail and desire to get to the bottom of how things work, focused on ensuring an excellent customer experience.
  • A securityoriented mindset and desire to build robust systems.
  • Be able to take action and improve things, based on structured processes, organization, and documentation.
  • A love for learning and a desire to grow and to help improve the team around you.
