Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain expertise in indirect categories, including market dynamics and supplier economics
- Create and execute the overall category strategy based on business needs
- Align regional strategy with global category objectives and ensure stakeholder alignment
- Identify and address category-related risks
- Encourage cross-functional and country team participation in regional category/subcategory initiatives
- Craft negotiation strategies and analyze category costs
- Negotiate with suppliers/vendors to get the best value for the organization
- Manage the supplier selection process and provide data for informed decisions
- Monitor supplier performance post-implementation
- Contribute to building a robust Procure-to-Pay process
- Drive productivity and project development across all value levers
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals
- Train new associates on strategic sourcing and analytics
- Integrate sustainability into category management and sourcing processes

Skills Required:
- BA (MBA preferred) or equivalent experience
- Strategic sourcing background in Indirect categories
- In-depth category knowledge, understanding market trends, suppliers, and cost factors
- Strong understanding of the regional landscape (supply chain, industry, etc.)
- Fluent in English
