What is a typical day for a V.M Analyst? Develops risk-based mitigation strategies for networks, operating systems, and applicationsTracks vulnerabilities and mitigation, identifying owners and interacting with resolvers teams with good communication and technical background.
Creates and maintains vulnerability management policies and procedures.
Review and define requirements for information security solutionsOrganizes network-based scans to identify possible network security attacks and host-based scans to identify vulnerabilities in workstations, servers, and other network hosts.
What skills do I need? Ability to speak effectively about the technical and business impacts of a vulnerability or bugExperience building risk-based mitigation strategies for networks, operating systems, and applicationsKnowledge of system and application security threats and vulnerabilities (e.g., buffer overflow, mobile code, cross-site scripting and injections, race conditions, covert channel, replay, return-oriented attacks, malicious code).Production experience with AWS, GCP or Azure, and are comfortable using security tools in these environmentsIntermediate to advanced English (at least writing skills, cause you'll use it a lot)We believe in good team chemistry, enthusiasm for finding new correlations between different contexts and vulnerabilities, and a sincere passion for infosec and technology.
