We invite a talented Researcher to join Payer Compass — a market-leading healthcare cost containment service that provides affordable, deductible health insurance plans that can save money in the form of lower premiums and tax breaks.

The platform facilitates reference-based pricing for employers concerned with health care costs and offers patient advocacy advice, a data analytics reporting tool and accredited care management services.

You'll help us to develop new features, including ones that will be used for a technological prognosis.

Is that you?

  • Upperintermediate English level (including formal English writing skills)
  • Proficiency with PC (MS Office and Excel, in particular including functions)
  • Structured thinking; solid analytical skills; ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Great attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work independently and within a collaborative team environment with little guidance/supervision.

Desirable:

  • Experience with writing Excel queries
  • Handson experience with Jira

Key responsibilities and your contribution
In this role, you'll be able to employ and further develop your best analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Research, document, and cite sources for state Medicaid programs following a series of prompts to assist the analyst in identifying key components of pricing and editing
  • Analyze supporting data and complete data dictionaries that follow a standardized format
  • Review a worklist for data changes that require a new data load
  • Initiate new data load requests
  • Perform analysis on data that supports pricing and editing functions, create data dictionaries using predefined templates
  • Work with a senior analyst to quality check content and assist in identifying opportunities to enhance process
  • Create business requirements documents (BRD) using a template
  • Create test claims to support a set of requirements using existing claim example templates
  • Manage BRD deadlines with necessary tools for completion tracking and clearly identifying open items that need inputs from stakeholders
