Product Sales Engineer, Hydraulics and Hydrology (OpenFlows)

Position Summary:


We are looking for talented individuals to join our high-performance team of Product Sales Engineers for OpenFlows, our Hydraulics and Hydrology brand.

This is a sales revenue-generating role supporting new and existing accounts with Bentley software products that help our users achieve their desired business outcomes.

You will help grow market share of the above brands in Brazil and the rest of Latin America through sales campaigns, social media (such as LinkedIn), showcasing success stories, discovery calls, prospecting, organizing demonstrations, and more.

You'll use a tried-and-tested sales process and manage your sales pipeline in a straightforward CRM.

In this role, you'll get unique insights into how hydraulic/hydrology engineers operate and use software solutions, and you'll leverage this to further advance the use of Bentley products.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, results-oriented, and have a passion for delivering innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media and sales strategies to promote and sell our hydraulics and hydrology engineering software to clients.
  • Expertly use LinkedIn and other social media means to engage prospects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the engineering and construction industry, and governments
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to showcase the features and benefits of our software solutions.
  • Understand client needs and requirements and provide tailored software solutions that address their specific challenges.
  • Develop a sales pipeline and forecast all revenue by effectively following the sales process and managing opportunities
  • Collaborate with the product development and marketing teams to gather client feedback and provide input for product enhancements and new features.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities and provide insights to the management team.
  • Attending industry conferences, trade shows, and events to generate leads and build brand awareness.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other
physical requirements
).

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the year.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil/hydraulic/hydrology engineering or similar, or equivalent engineering or sales experience
  • Minimum of 2 3 years of experience within an engineering organization or selling engineering software is preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of water/wastewater/storm water engineering principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with Bentley products, mainly OpenFlows (e.
g. WaterGEMS, WaterCAD, SewerGEMS, SewerCAD, CivilStorm, StormCAD) is highly desirable.

  • Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present information to users and prospects via phone and web.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into software solutions.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales tools is a plus.
