CreativeForge is seeking to hire a senior level Shopify Developer with a strong understanding of conversion rate optimization, UX and UI best practices, and high quality custom development.

This role is responsible for building and maintaining production ready Shopify storefronts that are fast, scalable, and conversion focused. You will work with designs and strategic direction but are expected to independently execute technical builds with minimal oversight.

This is not a theme tweaking role. We are looking for someone who can confidently build custom Shopify solutions using Liquid and front end technologies while maintaining high engineering standards.

Primary Job Duties


  • Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Develop fully custom Shopify storefronts from scratch when required
  • Translate Figma designs into pixel accurate, responsive Shopify builds
  • Implement conversion rate optimization best practices across the site
  • Customize cart and cart drawer experiences with advanced logic and UX improvements
  • Build and maintain product bundles, upsells, and cross sell functionality
  • Optimize storefront performance, speed, and Core Web Vitals
  • Implement SEO friendly code structure and technical best practices
  • Write clean, modular, and scalable custom code
  • QA all work thoroughly before delivery
  • Identify technical constraints early and propose proper solutions
  • Own the technical quality of builds end to end


Required Skills and Competencies


  • Strong experience developing on Shopify using Liquid
  • Proven ability to build custom Shopify themes from scratch
  • Strong experience with Replo and Instant
  • Deep understanding of CRO principles including proper font, aspect ratios, mobile and desktop responsiveness, etc.
  • Strong UX and UI instincts for eCommerce websites
  • Experience with cart and cart drawer customization
  • Experience building bundle logic and product groupings
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience optimizing site speed, performance, and SEO awareness
  • Strong experience working from Figma designs
  • High attention to detail and code quality
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Results driven mindset and strong sense of ownership
