Position Overview We are seeking for a dynamic and results-oriented Laboratory Manager to collaborate with the expansion and growth of our business, with a primary focus on Brazil, LATAM market. This role will report to LATAM Director and is based in São Paulo. JOB DESCRIPTIONOversee the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery of resultsImplement and monitor quality control measures to ensure accurate test results and adherence to regulatory guidelinesStay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new equipment and methodologies for improved laboratory efficiencyDesign and continuously monitor detailed and complete SOPs for testing proceduresProvide direct training and guidance to laboratories in the Latam regionEnsure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and guidelinesDevelop and update E-learning materials related to testing proceduresPrepare plans for establishing satellite laboratories and partner laboratoriesMonitor and maintain the quality of testing at partner laboratoriesCollaborate with other stakeholders to provide prompt and accurate laboratory results.Coordinate with other departments, such as R&D, Medical, Data team to ensure seamless integration and information exchange.Collaborate with bioinformatics and data analysis teams to ensure accurate and timely data analysis and interpretation. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors (BODs)JOB REQUIREMENTSMaster's degree or higher in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, or other related fieldsMinimum of five years of experience in laboratory management, preferably in a medical/ NGS/ genetic/molecular testing laboratories Knowledge and experience in operating Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) systems and platforms (e.g., Illumina, Thermo, Element, MGI, etc.) for NGS or molecular biology labsIn-depth understanding of laboratory safety management systems, including preventive measures and best practicesExperience in training and developing staff in both technical and soft skills, as well as career orientationFlexible in working outside of standard office hoursWilling to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, as required by the jobStrong teamwork, presentation, and persuasion skillsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsCapable of planning and being proactive at workGood organizational and coordination skillsFluent in English and Spanish
