We are a leading company in our industry, dedicated to providing innovative solutions and services to our clients. We seek a talented and experienced Data Science Manager to join our Marketing team and drive growth through data-driven insights and strategies.


As a Marketing Data Science Manager, you will lead a team of data scientists responsible for analyzing marketing data and developing predictive models to optimize marketing campaigns and customer experiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and sales to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven solutions. One of your main responsibilities will be to implement and lead a Center of Excellence in the Latin America Regional Office that will support 7 subsidiaries in consumer and business data. Additionally, you will be expected to prepare and deliver executive presentations to C-level executives.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage data scientists’ efforts working on marketing projects. Train and educate employees on data analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies to increase the adoption of data-driven approaches.
  • Develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies to increase customer engagement, retention, and revenue
  • Analyze large datasets using statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to derive actionable insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and sales teams to identify business challenges and develop data-driven solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data science and marketing, and share knowledge with the team
  • Mentor and train junior members of the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Communicate complex data analysis results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Prepare and deliver executive presentations to C-level executives
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion within agreed upon deadlines
  • Implement and lead a Center of Excellence in the Latin America Regional Office that will support 7 subsidiaries in consumer and business data
  • Work closely with other departments to integrate data-driven insights across the organization


Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, with at least 3 years of experience managing a team of data scientists
  • Strong understanding of statistics, machine learning techniques, and data mining tools
  • Expertise in Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages for data analysis
  • English proficiency is mandatory; Spanish proficiency is a plus
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or AWS/GCP Big Data Services
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions in a marketing context
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to C-level executives
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build relationships across the organization
  • Passion for staying current with emerging data science methodologies and tools
  • Experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and experimentation design
