About the Role:

This role acts as the key finance partner to the JFF’s STS business in South America, driving financial understanding and strategic decision-making.

The Finance Business Partner will transform financial data into meaningful insights, provide budgeting and forecasting support, and enhance operational efficiency through financial process improvements.

The role will work closely with regional leadership and finance teams to deliver clear financial outlooks, track business performance, and provide commercial insights that enable growth and efficiency.

In performing the role of the Finance Business Partner:

1. Business Partnering & Commercial Insights

• Work closely with the South America JFF Regional Manager to provide financial analysis, trends, and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Translate financial data into meaningful narratives to enhance business understanding for non-finance stakeholders.
• Lead the development and presentation of KPI dashboards and business reports to monitor performance.
• Identify risks and opportunities, proactively supporting business leaders in decision-making.
• Monitor and manage the impacts of exchange rate variations on operations, proposing strategies to mitigate risks.

2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning

• Lead the budget and forecasting process, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow planning.
• Deliver clear variance analysis and commentary, highlighting drivers of performance gaps and proposing corrective actions.
• Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess potential business risks and opportunities.
• Develop financial models that improve forecasting accuracy and strategic planning.

3. Process Improvement & Systems Optimisation

• Streamline financial processes, ensuring efficiency and automation where possible.
• Work on systems integration and improvements in BI tools, promoting dynamic analysis and faster decision-making.
• Enhance data accuracy and reporting speed through financial system improvements.
• Drive initiatives that improve internal controls, efficiency, and standardisation across regions.

4. Stakeholder Management & Leadership

• Act as a key finance representative in cross-functional meetings, ensuring financial considerations are embedded in decision-making.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regional and global finance teams, ensuring alignment with group strategy.
• Support senior leadership with clear and concise financial presentations and insights.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial data is accessible, relevant, and used effectively.

5. Reporting & Performance Analysis

• Consolidate and provide commentary for Flash Sales Reports, ensuring leadership understands key trends.
• Deliver monthly financial reports, explaining business performance, variances, and key drivers.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reports to support business initiatives.

REQUISITOS/ REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields;
• Experience in financial planning and analysis;
• Experience in budgeting and performance tracking;
• Knowledge of financial modeling for case studies;
• Fluency in English;
• Advanced Excel skills.

CONHECIMENTOS DESEJÁVEIS/ DESIRABLE:

• Must reside in Rio de Janeiro or nearby areas;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance and/or financial planning and analysis;
• Advanced Spanish is a plus;
• Experience with financial reporting in multinational companies;
• Experience in pricing and support to the commercial/sales department;
• Strong skills in cost analysis and control.
