We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Speech Collection Specialists to contribute to our cutting-edge projects.


Job Overview:

As a Speech Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for gathering, recording, and organizing speech samples from diverse sources. This role involves working closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure high-quality data collection that meets project specifications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and record speech samples.
  • Ensure speech data is clear, accurate, and meets quality standards.
  • Follow guidelines and protocols for speech collection to maintain consistency.
  • Organize and label speech data accurately for easy retrieval and analysis.
  • Perform quality checks and clean data as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the project team to refine and improve data collection processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all collected data.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in data collection, particularly in speech or audio data.
  • Proficiency in using recording equipment and software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience an asset.
  • Familiarity with speech recognition technologies.
  • Knowledge of multiple languages or dialects.
  • Experience with audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition) prefered but not mandatory.
