We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Animal Production Engineer for an expatriation contract in Guinea. ONLY CVs IN ENGLISH WILL BE CONSIDERED


The Animal Production Engineer will be the primary person responsible for the poultry production team. This professional will ensure the smooth operation of the department through performance indicators.

In coordination with general management, they will oversee the recruitment, management, and supervision of poultry workers, ensuring that their skills align with the requirements of poultry production. They will be tasked with carrying out various duties and assuming critical responsibilities while operating within a framework defined by close collaboration and periodic validations with general management.

The Animal Production Engineer will also be responsible for executing various tasks and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Managing the daily operations of laying hens, broilers, and breeding flocks.
  • Developing and optimizing feed formulations based on available raw materials.
  • Supervising the health, nutrition, and well-being of the poultry.
  • Ensuring the implementation of biosecurity protocols.
  • Monitoring performance and adjusting practices based on results.
  • Working closely with field management teams to ensure production and quality objectives are met.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree: Animal Production Engineer, Zootechnics Technician, Poultry Science, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in managing breeders and formulating feed.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
