MISSION As a Consultant, your mission is to primarily interact with internal project teams, clients or organizations seeking your expertise and guidance. You will engage with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and individuals responsible for the project or engagement. By understanding their needs, challenges, and goals, you utilize your skills to deliver tailored recommendations and strategies. Your focus is on optimizing systems, improving operations, and driving organizational success. To accomplish this, you stay updated with industry trends and best practices, ensuring that your solutions align with current standards. Whether you are providing technical expertise, problem-solving, or project management, your ultimate mission is to make a positive impact, empower your clients, and contribute to their growth and achievement of desired outcomes.

ACTIVITIES Activities will vary depending on the specific industry, client requirements, and the scope of the technical consulting engagement, but the key activities and responsibilities may include. Client Needs Assessment: Conducting thorough assessments and discussions with clients to understand their technical requirements, challenges, and goals. Solution Design and Development: Designing customized technical solutions that align with client needs and industry best practices. This may involve creating system architectures, developing workflows, or outlining technical specifications. Technical Implementation: Overseeing the implementation of technical solutions, ensuring proper configuration, integration, and deployment of hardware, software, or systems. Collaborating with clients and technical teams to execute the implementation process. Systems Analysis and Evaluation: Analyzing existing systems or processes to identify areas for improvement, optimization, or efficiency gains. Conducting data analysis, performance evaluations, and system audits to make informed recommendations. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues or challenges that arise during implementation or ongoing operations. Providing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain system functionality. Technical Training and Support: Delivering training programs or workshops to clients, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to utilize and maintain their technical solutions. Providing ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance as needed. Project Management: Managing technical projects, including creating project plans, defining milestones, allocating resources, and monitoring progress. Coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Documentation and Reporting: Creating technical documentation, including system specifications, user guides, and standard operating procedures. Generating reports on project status, technical issues, and recommendations for improvement. Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs, and acting as a trusted advisor. Regularly communicating project updates, delivering presentations, and providing ongoing consultation and support. Continuous Learning and Professional Development: Staying updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development. Engaging in training programs, attending conferences, and seeking certifications to enhance technical knowledge and expertise.

JOB EXPERIENCE Master’s degree or equivalent 3+ years of professional experience in consulting or payment industry Working experience of payment technology like, Mobile Payments, EMV, Open banking, Instant Payments, Sharp Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving Effective Communication Skills verbal and written Proficiency in building and maintaining strong client relationships Project Management Abilities Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances, technologies, and client requirements Business Acumen Continuous Learning Mindset

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Standards: ISO 8583, EMVco payment tokenization standard; ISO 20022 are must haves. ISO 15022; EMVco 3D secure, EMVco secure remote commerce, W3C, ISO 18013-5 are a welcome advantage Technology and tools : EMV L3 certification, Mobile payments wallet implementation (GooglePay, Apple Pay, SamsungPay) Fluency in Portuguese and English are mandatory and Spanish is desirable
