Job Description:
Required Skills (Must Have and should meet all the below standards for qualifying to this role)
- Knowledge on Routing and switching Technologies like IGP, OSPF, EGP, BGP, STP, RSTP, VTP,
- VSS, vPC, vDC, MSTP, LACP, VLAN
- Experienced Knowledge on LAN SW Technologies like STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, MSTP, LACP, VLAN,
- VXLAN-EVPN.
- Knowledge of Cisco Routing and switching Platforms like Cisco ISR 800/1900/2900/3900/4000
- Series routers, ASR 1000 , Cat 6500, 6800, 4500, 3850.
- Experience in installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting and/or Network solution
- designing of Cisco routers and switch
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, ability to communicate technology
- strategy and architecture approach to engineers, executives, and Cisco customers.
- Strong consulting & client-facing skills to include cross-functional influence, external and
- internal consulting
Desired Skills (Good to have as value add to this role)
- Prior experience of conducting customer workshops, High level and low level network design
- experience would be preferred.
- Routing & Switching SP Domain - XR, ASR9K, BGP, MPLS, BNG, Segment Routing
- Knowledge of emerging technologies like SDA/ SDWAN/ACI preferred
- Knowledge of Nexus Switches, UCS products and Hyperflex
- Network automation skills preferred (Python/ Ansible/ GoLang/ Splunk)
Education &/ Additional Certification’s
- BE/B.Tech/BSC Computer Science or equivalent
- CCNA is a must, CCNP is a plus, CCIE (ENT) is preferred.
