You will be joining a well-established market leader, large group with diversified businesses portfolio, reporting to the Snr Demand Planning Manager and responsible for the following


The Inventory & Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of inventory and distribution operations. This role ensures optimal stock levels, efficient distribution of finished goods, and alignment with sales forecasts to support business growth and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inventory strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce holding costs.
  • Develop and maintain a robust stock policy for finished goods that balances market demand, service levels, and working capital efficiency
  • Ensure timely and accurate distribution of finished goods to Distribution Centers and retail outlets.
  • Define and manage logistics processes for both proprietary and third-party products.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align inventory with demand forecasts.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for inventory turnover, order fulfillment, and distribution efficiency.
  • Design and maintain infrastructure and systems for effective warehousing and transportation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in storage and distribution.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance.
  • Manage relationships with logistics providers and negotiate contracts to optimize costs.
  • Prepare regular reports and analysis for senior management on inventory and distribution metrics.
  • Leverage ERP systems to manage inventory, distribution, and demand planning processes efficiently.


Key requirements:

  • Willing and able to relocate to Angola
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory and distribution management, preferably in FMCG
  • Proven track record of managing complex supply chain operations
  • Experience with lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices
  • Prior FMCG experience will be a plus
  • Ability to influence the decision makers
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly-driven and self-motivated
  • Proven ability to work with ambiguity
