Position Objective:

Lead the consumer communications & marketing LATAM strategy, by being responsible for developing effective corporate, brand and product support communication strategies, including all stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure brand visibility, communication efficiency and compliance with commercial objectives; through brand and activation campaigns and consumer materials, online and offline.


The role will also be responsible for developing an internal communication strategy, in partnership with the HR and Marketing areas, ensuring effective communication to associates, with engagement and clarity in communications.


Develop, together with a partner agency, the PR strategy, ensuring brand visibility for relevant communication channels and vehicles, event planning, interviews and agendas that strengthen the brand's presence.


Specific Activities of the Functions of this Position:


  • Build a LATAM strategy and communication plan for the Brand and main launches, ensuring effectiveness and engagement.
  • Management of internal team and agencies.
  • Responsible for updating content, briefing and approvals.
  • Briefing and debriefing with product areas
  • Build and analyze metrics to track campaign results
  • Report, when necessary, the area's actions to other countries and internal areas
  • Responsible for managing budgets and deadlines.
  • Organize initiatives and plan events or press conferences, with effective monitoring by the PR agency.
  • Create seasonal Comm/Mkt campaigns & promotions to maximize sale force recruitment, establishing alliances, developing promotional opportunities in print, online & via marketing/media partnerships.
  • Manage the deliveries, processes and deadlines of PR and Digital Media agencies
  • Plan and execute a relationship rule with associates, which is effective in communication and guarantees a high level of engagement and clarity.
  • Design Incentive & Loyalty Communication Programs to keep sales force motivated.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Global Branding, and others to integrate the digital environment into our business model, utilizing a deep understanding of our business, consumer trends, and the role of technology.
  • Anticipate future requirements, trends, and changes and collaborate with technology groups to drive innovation and customer satisfaction

  • Team management and leadership of processes and projects.
  • Constant search for improvements in processes and systems.
  • Good relationship in a matrix structure, which provides involvement and engagement of partner areas and direct peers.


Education & Experience:

  • Solid experience (10+ years) leading regional Communication strategies for a Latam region.
  • Previous experience designing and executing regional external and internal communications plans across organization in line with the overall business and organization strategy.
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience in leading digital comms/marketing functions.
  • Experience developing the internal/external communications strategy, boosting awareness of a company' products in LATAM to create positive impact in the sales force teams as well as the end consumer.
  • Previous experience working in the FMGC, Consumer Package Goods or related indsutry.
  • Strong exposure to the analysis of Comms agencies and service for Internal/external Communication, Media relations and digital environment.
  • Exposure in marketing covering Product Mkt, PR & Marcom and Promotion.
