Job Description:
- The Logistics Innovation Senior Manager will be responsible for optimizing transportation and warehousing operations while focusing on cost reduction. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional leadership skills to drive innovation in logistics. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles and demonstrated success in implementing operational improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize transportation and warehousing operations (network redesign, operational efficiency, LSPs KPIs and SLAs)
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Implement new technologies and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of logistics processes across the organization
- Support LSPs bid/negotiation/contracts to achieve optimal pricing and service levels
- Continuously monitor and evaluate logistics performance to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Administration, Logistics or a related field
- Solid experience in Logistics Operations/Logistics Projects. In Industry, Logistics Operators, or in projects in Consulting companies;
- Expertise in transportation and warehousing operations for Retail channel (expertise in E-commerce will be a plus)
- Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and achieving cost reductions
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
