Their responsibilities may include one or more of the following:Reviewing and drafting agreements for sales, marketing, events, vendor contracts, and terms of purchase.Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, employment regulations, and tech industry standards.Handling data privacy matters, property purchases, and contract drafting.Supporting policy development by conducting researchThe specific nature of work assigned to the person depends on various factors, including the candidate's strengths (determined based on training performance) and the team's requirements.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Law – accredited by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC)Registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) (optional)1-3 years of experience.Knowledge in:Compliance and LGPD (General Data Protection Law – Brazil)Negotiation and international contractsLegal and regulatory risk managementLabor negotiationsSkills & Competencies:Oral and written communication skills in English and Portuguese;Ability to understand and apply concepts and regulations to a particular context;Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating legal risks;Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment;Preferred Attributes:Adaptability to work on varied legal tasks based on business needs.Willingness to learn and follow established legal processes and play books.Interest in technology, tech laws, and evolving regulatory landscapes.
