Job Description

We are seeking a talented and versatile Content Strategist to join our hiring partner's team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling content across various marketing channels, supporting SEO efforts, and managing email marketing campaigns. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while being part of an innovative and dynamic startup environment.


Responsibilities

  • Create and manage all copy and content across marketing channels (Landing Pages, Emails, Ads, Articles, etc.)
  • Write long-form content including articles, SEO-optimized pieces, and newsletters
  • Produce short-form content such as case studies, emails, and ad copy
  • Manage warm email funnels in Klaviyo, including flows and weekly newsletters
  • Support the SEO agency by generating content based on predetermined briefs
  • Collaborate with designers to illustrate copy, landing pages, and ads (if experienced)
  • Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand voice and marketing strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing and SEO


Qualifications


Must Have

  • Proven experience in copywriting, both long-form (articles, SEO, newsletters) and short-form (case studies, emails, ads)
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization
  • Experience in creating and managing email marketing campaigns
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills


Nice to Have

  • Experience with Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms
  • Practical experience supporting SEO efforts
  • Experience managing designers to illustrate copy, landing pages, and ads
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems
  • Basic understanding of web analytics and performance metrics

Salary Range

$3,000 - $4,000 USD per month


Working Hours

Eastern or Central Time zone preferred. Candidates able to work one time zone ahead of Eastern Time will also be considered.


Hiring Process

  1. Intro Screening
  2. Submission of example writings in various marketing channels
  3. Behavioral interview
  4. Writing assignment: Create a short article about our new deliverability product suite
  5. Interview with a co-founder
