BCG X People and Development Manager – X Delivery

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Scope

  • Play a crucial role in managing our workforce and CD (career development) processes. Take charge of employee lifecycle-related procedures, with a strong focus on CD processes and stakeholder management
  • Facilitate CDC meetings to ensure uniformity in performance evaluation and collaboration as necessary
  • Guide and influence Core team members (even those not under your supervision) in supporting the logistics of CDC meetings, including ensuring all relevant data is current and accurate (workday, case information, staffing details, case reviews, etc.)
  • Analyze and forecast CD advisor pipeline needs for promotions, new talent, etc., and ensure the identification of potential CD Advisors
  • Assess calibration for the entire population, ensuring consistency in comments, actionable feedback, fairness, and alignment with reality, maintaining calibrated grades (if required, involve CD chair in discussions and seek advice on performance and feedback processes)
  • Collaborate with P&D team members to guarantee all aspects of talent review for CDC are finalized and accurate, including tenure reviews, case reviews, dossier preparation, etc.
  • Train and enlighten individuals on career paths and how to leverage all elements of our EVP, from mobility to L&D programs
  • Provide L&D insights from CDC to ensure continuous innovation and development of the appropriate unique X L&D to implement our talent strategy
  • Administer HR procedures in partnership with local HR, such as Onboarding, Probation, Performance Improvement Plans, Absence Management, Mobility, and Exit
  • Elevate potential employee relations issues to ensure alignment and collaboration with business, P&D leadership, and local BCG HR teams if required
  • Adaptability to undertake people experience, L&D, or other essential people projects that impact the region, global LOB, or other pertinent people experience as necessary

  • Cultural advocate working across regional and global teams to facilitate all employee programs aimed at fostering culture and affiliation
  • Contribute to the employee experience of all X Delivery talent worldwide
  • Actively collaborate with CDAs, Line Managers, local HR, leadership to ensure a profound comprehension of the employee population being served and deliver a breadth of people experiences to drive culture, engagement, and people development

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Over 6 years of experience in a professional services environment, preferably in a people-centric role
  • Experience in overseeing individual employee performance and related processes is advantageous
  • Some exposure to managing employee relations
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing people programs is a plus
  • Basic familiarity with HR systems like workday is beneficial
  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree is highly preferred or equivalent years of relevant work experience

CDC Advisors, Global X delivery leadership for the employee population you are supporting, People & Development Leadership, and your team members

BCG local HR for all mobility-related matters, ER, CDC policies, etc. We prioritize alignment before taking action on all employee HR requirements with local BCG HR (In the office of the affected employee)
