About the job
In SME credit, advantage compounds through disciplined underwriting, fast learning cycles, and early detection of risks. As our Credit Analyst, you will strengthen our underwriting edge by translating financial data, behavioural signals, and real-world borrower performance into precise credit decisions- while continuously feeding insights back into our core decision models.

Responsibilities
Conduct holistic credit analysis for SMEs: financials, cash-flows, tax compliance, bank data, concentration risks, behavioural signals.
Produce concise, decision-ready credit memos with recommendations (approve / adjust / decline).
Lead periodic reviews of high-exposure borrowers - liquidity evolution, leverage shifts, payment patterns, and macro impacts.
Evaluate and recommend credit-limit increases based on performance, updated financials, and risk appetite.
Maintain a closed-loop feedback mechanism between underwriting decisions and portfolio outcomes.
Collaborate with Data to translate recurring insights into better thresholds, features, and model logic.
Support portfolio monitoring with early-warning detection and risk-mitigation recommendations.
Ensure underwriting discipline and audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications
2–3 years in IB, credit, structured credit, asset management, DCM or fintech underwriting.
Strong financial analysis: liquidity, leverage, coverage, working-capital dynamics, seasonality.
Familiarity with Brazilian tax reporting, accounting regimes, and corporate structures.
Experience writing clear, investor-grade credit memos.
Understanding of credit models (inputs, outputs, sensitivity) and ability to evaluate their strengths/weaknesses.
Bonus: exposure to securitisation, structured credit, data-driven underwriting.
High analytical rigor and precision in judgment.
