Job Overview:

We are searching for Data Manager to oversee the Market Intelligence and Big Data team of Samsung's Mobile Experience division. The role involves planning and directing the structuring of the infrastructure for tables and databases from multiple internal and external information sources. This will enable the generation of business insights with the fastest possible response to proposed demands and the creation of necessary solutions.

Key Job Responsibilities:


  • • Generation of insights and solutions for mobile phones, tablets, PCs, and wearables on demand and as needed

  • • Direction and coordination of processes for creating and maintaining the database infrastructure, which is composed of information from various internal and external sources

  • • Management of the Market Intelligence & Big Data team (3 FTEs)

  • • Creation and optimization of reports in Tableau
    • Background & Experience
      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistic, or a related .
      • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in data management
      • Preferably experience in retail, manufacturing, or market research agencies.
      • Advanced proficiency in operating at least Tableau and Excel is required. Strong storytelling ability, capable of clearly and directly communicating the paths and results of complex data analyses to non-experts.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Language: Advanced English is mandatory.
