What we’re looking for
As the CRM Strategy Team Lead at Massive Rocket, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of CRM strategists. You will be responsible for the development and ongoing orchestration of CRM strategy for clients, delivering against their KPIs and generating measurable ROI for strategic plans and developing a strategic response to client briefs. You will be adept at simplifying complex frameworks into a clear narrative and translating recommendations into actionable plans.
This role will be heavily involved in client sessions during the Delivery Sales Lifecycle. The CRM Strategy Team Lead is someone who can build rapport, who can get to the core of the clients' challenges and deliver insightful, data-led marketing strategies, activated through integrated campaign planning. Create pitches that tell a story using strategy, data and insight.
The CRM Strategy Team Lead will work alongside the CRM Department Lead to ensure that the CRM Strategy and CRM execution teams are aligned, and will lead on the implementation of the strategy. The Strategist should provide actionable-initiatives that the execution team can deliver for the client and help support the tracking & reporting of business objectives. This role will conduct strategy sessions based on lifecycle stages, best practices and key principles.
Responsibilities
CRM Strategy & Sales
• Deliver and orchestrate CRM strategy for clients with a focus on how to leverage data to measure and generate ROI, and deliver against their KPIs
• Demonstrate strong presentation skills and craft compelling, strategic and visually appealing decks for senior clients using data and insight.
• Demonstrate understanding of the client’s strategic goals and deliver comms plans across complex or major projects, ensuring they are optimised against client strategies, with a focus on how to leverage data and technology to deliver more effective customer journeys
Team Leadership & Development
• Oversee a team of CRM Strategists, ensuring adherence to the standards and practices of the Practice and Massive Rocket.
• Ensure that CRM Strategists work is held accountable according to Massive Rocket standards for quality, speed, and execution.
• Support and input into the creation of discipline knowledge to be shared through the agency via sharing of key principles, industry updates, case studies and education sessions
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members for performance feedback, skill development, and growth according to the Capability Matrix.
• Participate in the recruitment process and candidate selection to ensure the team is staffed with skilled individuals who align with the team's objectives and culture.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 10+ years of CRM experience, with 5 years in a CRM Strategy position in an agency, consultancy or a client-side
• Experience presenting complex strategies, translating goals and insights into value propositions and connecting your strategy to achievable and coherent activation plans
• Experience using data to evaluate effectiveness of customer communications and in using these results to plan future campaigns, regarding audience, next best actions, content and timing frequencies
• In-depth knowledge of CRM and technologies, with expertise in CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or HubSpot..etc.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing CRM data to derive insights and inform decision-making
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to drive results, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in providing CRM consulting or advisory services to clients is a plus.
• English at C1 level
