We're hiring a Senior Data Engineer to architect and scale data infrastructure that powers business-critical applications and analytics platforms. You'll take the lead on designing performant, reliable pipelines and collaborating across teams to build solutions in a modern Azure-based cloud environment.

What You'll Do:
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory and Databricks
Define and optimize data models across relational and non-relational databases including MySQL, Redis, and CosmosDB
Ensure data integrity and quality through testing, monitoring, and validation frameworks
Build scalable infrastructure to support real-time and batch data processing workflows
Partner with engineers, analysts, and product teams to align data architecture with application needs
Own data platform reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency in production environments
Contribute to team best practices, architecture decisions, and mentoring junior engineers

What You Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's a plus)
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles
Advanced proficiency with SQL and experience working across structured and unstructured data
Strong background with cloud services, especially Azure (Data Factory, Functions, Synapse, etc.)
Proficient in Python or other scripting languages used for data workflows
Solid understanding of data warehousing, modeling, and performance optimization
Familiarity with REST APIs and secure authentication protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML)

Nice to Have:
Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, or distributed data frameworks
Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Terraform, or Azure DevOps pipelines
Portuguese/English bilingual communication skills
