Senior Data Engineer Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer Manager to lead our team of data engineers. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of data engineering and drive innovation within our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, experience managing teams, and excellent leadership skills. They will be responsible for developing and implementing data strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality data solutions.

About the Role

This role requires a seasoned data engineer with expertise in designing and building scalable data systems. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of data architecture, experience with cloud-based technologies, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and on budget.

  • Lead a team of data engineers to design, develop, and deploy data solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and implement data strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on leadership and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
