About CELACELA – Clean Energy Latin America is a leading financial and strategic advisory firm focused on energy transition in Latin America.With over 12 years of experience, we advise companies and investors across reflective strategy, energy, fundraising, project finance, and M&A, covering several sector such as Renewables, Hydrogen, Batteries, Biofuels, etc. Our work supports the development of sustainable energy solutions with real impact across the region.🌎 Learn more: www.cela.com.brThe RoleWe are looking for a Financial Modelling Analyst to join our consulting team and support investment analysis and financial modelling for energy transition projects and companies.This role offers:Exposure to real investment decisions in renewable energyDirect interaction with clients, investors, and senior consultantsA fast-paced, analytical, and impact-driven environmentKey ResponsibilitiesBuild and review financial models for: Company and project valuation, Financial due diligence, Feasibility studies and Equity and debt fundraisingAnalyze operational metrics of energy projects (tariffs, capacity, generation, performance)Evaluate financial indicators, including: Enterprise Value (EV), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and othersSupport CELA’s consulting team with financial analysis and modelling toolsContribute to high-quality client deliverables and internal decision-makingProfileStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate complex financial analyses into actionable insights for clients and internal teamsProactive and comfortable working independentlyCurious and motivated to develop across energy transition topicsAligned with CELA’s mission to accelerate the energy transition in Latin AmericaRequirementsPrevious experience in: Financial modelling, Investment analysis, Corporate finance or valuationBachelor’s degree in: Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Accounting or related fieldsAdvanced Excel skills (mandatory)Fluent English (written and spoken, mandatory)Full-time availability with exclusivityAvailability to work primarily remote (home office)Preferred QualificationsExperience in renewable energy, energy transition, or power sectorKnowledge of Power BI or data visualization toolsBackground in: Consulting, Investment banking, Project finance, Infrastructure or energy fundsCompensationCompetitive, market-aligned compensationSalary negotiable based on experience
