Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Web Developer with 7–14 years of experience to work on cutting-edge web applications. In this role, you will be responsible for both frontend and backend development, designing and implementing features that deliver a seamless and high-performance user experience. As a Fullstack Web Developer, you will work across the entire stack — from databases to APIs to user-facing interfaces — and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fullstack Development:
  • Design, develop, and maintain both frontend and backend components of web applications using modern technologies and frameworks.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, and scalable code for frontend user interfaces and backend business logic.
  • Build reusable, modular, and efficient code across the full stack to ensure a consistent user experience.
  • Design and develop robust APIs (RESTful, GraphQL) for interaction between the frontend and backend systems.
  • Frontend Development:
  • Develop user-facing features using HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Implement responsive, mobile-first designs with attention to UI/UX principles to ensure optimal user experience.
  • Optimize frontend performance for speed and scalability, including lazy loading, caching, and code splitting.
  • Backend Development:
  • Design and implement backend logic and business services using technologies like Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, or Go.
  • Build and optimize relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
  • Develop server-side functionality, including authentication, authorization, and data management systems.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs as needed for extended functionality.
  • Database Design & Optimization:
  • Design and manage database schemas, models, and queries to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and modification.
  • Optimize database performance, implement indexing, and ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Ensure data security, consistency, and integrity within backend systems.
  • Collaboration & Agile Development:
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to define and implement new features and functionality.
  • Participate in Agile development practices including sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
  • Code Quality & Best Practices:
  • Write clean, well-documented, and well-tested code to ensure maintainability, reliability, and scalability.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and mentor junior developers, providing guidance on best practices and efficient development approaches.
  • Participate in regular code reviews, identifying areas for improvement and maintaining coding standards across the team.
  • Continuous Learning & Innovation:
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve development processes and maintain high-quality code.
  • Suggest new tools, libraries, and frameworks to improve the development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience:
  • 7–14 years of experience in fullstack web development, with proven expertise in both frontend and backend technologies.
  • Strong experience with React.js, Angular, or Vue.js for frontend development.
  • Extensive experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, or Go.
  • Solid understanding of database design and management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure APIs (RESTful and/or GraphQL).
  • Experience with version control systems like Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies.
  • Expertise in frontend build tools and frameworks like Webpack, Babel, Sass, or ES6+ JavaScript.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript), and familiarity with advanced CSS/JS libraries and tools.
  • Experience with state management libraries like Redux, MobX, or Vuex.
  • In-depth knowledge of application performance optimization, debugging tools, and security best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, collaborate on complex projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microservices architecture and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Experience with serverless architectures and technologies like AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
  • Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress) and backend testing frameworks (e.g., Junit, Mocha, Chai).
  • Experience in building and maintaining progressive web apps (PWAs).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
