Lead Full Stack Engineer – AI/LLMs Focus

Hours: Flexible, with at least 2–3 hours of overlap with NZT (6–10 PM BRT)

About the Role

We're supporting one of our international clients on a project that combines cloud computing with generative AI. We're looking for an experienced full stack engineer to help develop autonomous agents that analyse, recommend, and implement real-time improvements in cloud environments.

This role is perfect for someone with over a decade of experience as a Software Engineer who, in recent years, has been diving deep into the world of LLMs, GenAI, and applied AI. You'll have full autonomy to make technical and product decisions, working directly with the founders no product managers or rigid processes.

ResponsibilitiesFull Stack Development
  • Design and build modern web applications with ReactJS and Node.js (TypeScript)
  • Create APIs using Cloudflare Workers
  • Work closely with the founders to define architecture, technical roadmap, and engineering culture
  • Ensure quality, security, and scalability from the very first commit
  • Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Docker, and DevOps best practices
  • Model and query data with Neo4j or similar solutions
AI/LLM Integration
  • Build autonomous agents and AI-powered features using LLMs, RAG, and GenAI
  • Integrate APIs like OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, etc.
  • Work with frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, or custom architectures
  • Create real-time data ingestion and transformation pipelines
  • Design integration protocols like Model Context Protocol (MCP)
RequirementsTechnical Experience
  • Advanced English is a must, both written and spoken. You'll be working directly with international stakeholders and founders.
  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong full stack development background
  • Proficient in ReactJS, Node.js, TypeScript
  • Experience with Cloudflare Workers, Docker, and CI/CD
  • Hands-on knowledge of graph databases like Neo4j
  • Familiarity with multicloud environments (Azure, AWS) and distributed architecture
AI/LLM Experience
  • Recent transition into GenAI, LLMs, NLP, and RAG
  • Mastery of LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.)
  • Experience with Python or TypeScript for AI applications
  • Ability to build smart integrations and data pipelines
Desirable
  • Previous experience in startups or high-autonomy environments (no PMs, direct reporting to founders)
  • Experience with rapid prototyping and MVP validation
  • "Builder" mindset, comfortable in ambiguous environments
