About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Interpreter/Translator to support our multinational business and project teams in Brazil. This role will provide simultaneous and written translation between English and Portuguese, helping ensure clear communication across global teams and business units. The ideal candidate is accurate, professional, and comfortable supporting meetings and documents involving technical and business terminology.
Key Responsibilities
Provide real-time interpretation (English–Portuguese and Portuguese–English) during meetings, workshops, and project discussions.
Translate business documents, emails, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
Support project teams by ensuring messages are accurately and contextually communicated across languages.
Collaborate with business and technical leaders to align on terminology and tone.
Review, edit, and proofread translations for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
Handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion.
Adapt communication style for different audiences (technical, business, executive).
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Translation, Languages, Communication, or a related field.
Local natural Portuguese speaker with fluent English (spoken and written).
Proven experience as a professional translator/interpreter, ideally in an international or corporate environment.
Strong understanding of business and technical terminology.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in IT or Telecommunications environments.
Experience supporting multinational teams or projects.
Other language skills are an advantage.
