Job Title: Multilingual Content Specialist About the Role: This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to drive localization excellence, ensuring the highest linguistic and cultural quality of content. You will collaborate with project managers, external translation providers, and product managers to enhance efficiency and scalability. Main Responsibilities: Linguistic Expertise: Review vendor-delivered content, provide linguistic feedback, and perform translation tasks on demand to uphold quality standards. Language Asset Management: Develop and maintain a robust terminology database, style guides, and translation memories to ensure linguistic consistency, enhance translation quality, and streamline workflows. Quality Benchmarking: Conduct ongoing linguistic research to refine key vocabulary and ensure alignment with local market expectations. User Experience Champion: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user feedback, ensuring the app's language experience remains natural, engaging, and user-friendly. Requirements: Native Portuguese Speaker: Extensive experience living and working in Brazil, fluent in business communication in English. Education: Degree in language or localization-related fields, with strong professional language skills. Experience: 3+ years of experience in English-Brazilian Portuguese translation, interpretation, or localization. Skills: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, adept at coordinating with local teams and building strong, trust-based relationships.
