Employee Experience Specialist This role is a pivotal position within the organization, requiring a strategic partner to coordinate the full employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership to develop and implement professional development programs that align with international best practices. Maintaining an accurate database of professional development experiences to inform future planning and resource allocation. Developing and implementing career progression frameworks to support individualized guidance in career development. Proactively identifying and organizing relevant professional development opportunities. Talent Acquisition & Retention This specialist manages the advertisement of positions, ensures the revision of job descriptions, interview questions, and tracks the overall hiring process in collaboration with hiring managers. Actively sourcing and soliciting qualified applicants, reviewing resumes, conducting initial and subsequent interviews, checking backgrounds on applicants, and making recommendations to hiring managers as requested. Assisting in conducting compensation benchmarking and analysis, utilizing systems to collect and analyze data on staff development, evaluation, retention, and attrition. Organizing an overall calendar and individual events recognizing and celebrating faculty & staff commitment to the organization, fostering a positive and appreciative work environment. Conducting interviews with faculty & staff for talent assessment and retention efforts. Supporting performance reviews and tracking goal progress. Actively sourcing and soliciting qualified applicants from diverse backgrounds, reviewing resumes with an equity lens, conducting initial and subsequent interviews, and making recommendations to hiring managers as requested, promoting a diverse candidate pool. Culture Support & Compliance This specialist administers employment contracts and oversees the comprehensive onboarding process for all new staff, including scheduling activities and facilitating training in child protection and data protection. Providing comprehensive support and resources to foreign hire staff settling into life at the organization. Planning and implementing outings for staff to support inclusion and celebration of local culture. Collaborating with leadership to monitor and administer professional development programs, ensuring alignment with local and international best practices in areas such as instructional strategies, leadership development frameworks, and DEIJ best practices. Compliance & Child Protection This specialist collaborates with outsourced providers to ensure effective monitoring of complaint channels, facilitating incident reporting and CIPA compliance. Developing and delivering compliance training to staff and ensuring full compliance with HR-related laws. Establishing and overseeing a robust system for mandatory child protection training for all staff and third-party providers (liaising with counseling staff and Leadership). Staying abreast of compliance-related laws and best practices nationally and internationally. Proposing and implementing policy and procedure enhancements supporting ethical behavior at the organization. Developing safer hiring protocols, including enhanced interview processes and comprehensive background, social media, and reference checks. Wellness & Health This specialist recommends a yearly plan articulating meaningful developments in staff wellness aligned with organizational direction. Conducting research and benchmarking exercises to incorporate new ideas and initiatives in staff wellness. Establishing mechanisms for regular staff feedback on wellness initiatives, using data to inform continuous improvement. Collaborating with leadership to research and recommend new benefits for inclusion in the organization's approach to staff wellness. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in HR. HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Labor laws, employment regulations, and compliance (including CIPA). HR Information Systems (HRIS). Full recruitment and onboarding lifecycle. Compensation, benefits, and benchmarking. Professional development and training frameworks. Child protection and safeguarding protocols. Cultural competence and sensitivity.
