Employee Experience Specialist This role is a pivotal position within the organization, requiring a strategic partner to coordinate the full employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership to develop and implement professional development programs that align with international best practices. Maintaining an accurate database of professional development experiences to inform future planning and resource allocation. Developing and implementing career progression frameworks to support individualized guidance in career development. Proactively identifying and organizing relevant professional development opportunities. Talent Acquisition & Retention Manage the advertising of positions, ensure the revision of job descriptions, interview questions, and track the overall hiring process in collaboration with hiring managers. Actively source and solicit qualified applicants, review resumes, conduct initial and subsequent interviews, check backgrounds, and make recommendations to hiring managers. Assist in conducting compensation benchmarking and analysis, utilizing systems to collect and analyze data on staff development, evaluation, retention, and attrition. Organize an overall calendar and individual events recognizing and celebrating faculty & staff commitment to the organization, fostering a positive and appreciative work environment. Conduct interviews with faculty & staff for talent assessment and retention efforts. Support performance reviews and track goal progress. Promote a diverse candidate pool by reviewing resumes with an equity lens and making inclusive recommendations. Culture Support & Compliance Administer employment contracts and oversee the comprehensive onboarding process for all new staff, including scheduling activities and facilitating training in child protection and data protection. Provide comprehensive support and resources to foreign hire staff settling into life at the organization. Plan and implement outings for staff to support inclusion and celebration of local culture. Collaborate with leadership to monitor and administer professional development programs, ensuring alignment with local and international best practices in instructional strategies, leadership development frameworks, and DEIJ best practices. Compliance & Child Protection Collaborate with outsourced providers to ensure effective monitoring of complaint channels, facilitate incident reporting and CIPA compliance. Develop and deliver compliance training to staff and ensure full compliance with HR-related laws. Establish and oversee a robust system for mandatory child protection training for all staff and third-party providers, liaising with counseling staff and Leadership. Stay abreast of compliance-related laws and best practices nationally and internationally. Propose and implement policy and procedure enhancements supporting ethical behavior at the organization. Develop safer hiring protocols, including enhanced interview processes and comprehensive background, social media, and reference checks. Wellness & Health Recommend a yearly plan articulating meaningful developments in staff wellness aligned with organizational direction. Conduct research and benchmarking exercises to incorporate new ideas and initiatives in staff wellness. Establish mechanisms for regular staff feedback on wellness initiatives, using data to inform continuous improvement. Collaborate with leadership to research and recommend new benefits for inclusion in the organization's approach to staff wellness. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in HR. HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Labor laws, employment regulations, and compliance (including CIPA). HR Information Systems (HRIS). Full recruitment and onboarding lifecycle. Compensation, benefits, and benchmarking. Professional development and training frameworks. Child protection and safeguarding protocols. Cultural competence and sensitivity.
