Mechanical Lead / Installation Supervisor – Lime Kiln Project (Brazil)
Plant Supervision is looking for an experienced Mechanical Lead / Installation Supervisor to join a large greenfield pulp & paper project in Brazil .

The main responsibility is to manage the mechanical installation and commissioning of a new Lime Kiln line , ensuring safety, quality, and on-time execution in cooperation with the client.

Main Responsibilities
Lead the mechanical installation of Lime Kiln equipment (preheater, kiln, cooler, ducts, conveyors, fans, and auxiliaries).
Supervise contractors and coordinate construction teams on-site.
Ensure all works comply with technical specifications, QA/QC standards, and HSE regulations.
Plan, schedule, and monitor progress in close collaboration with the project manager.
Support alignment, inspection, and commissioning activities together with Valmet’s specialists.
Manage documentation, daily reporting, and communication between local and international teams.

Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical installation or construction of rotary kiln systems – preferably within cement, lime, or pulp & paper industry .
Proven experience with kiln erection, shell alignment, girth gear installation, cooler assembly, and refractory works .
Technical degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Production Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Strong leadership and site management skills.
Fluent in Portuguese or Spanish ; English proficiency is required for reporting and coordination.
Willingness to work full-time on site in Brazil for approximately 1.5 years (starting February 2026).

Preferred Skills
Previous experience with Valmet, FLSmidth, Metso, or similar kiln technology .
Knowledge of HSE standards, QA/QC procedures, and commissioning .
Ability to work independently in multicultural, high-demand projects.
