About the Role:
Role: Senior Python Developer
Location: Brazil (Hybrid) only Remote in São Paulo, Brazil
Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain high-performance APIs using FastAPI.

- Design and implement scalable microservices architecture.

- Optimize applications for speed, reliability, and scalability.

- Collaborate with product managers and front-end developers to translate business requirements
into technical solutions.

- Manage containerization using Docker and orchestrate deployments on Amazon EKS.

- Perform database design and optimization using PostgreSQL.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance.

- Prepare technical documentation for APIs and backend systems.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth.
Requirements

- 8-10 years of professional experience in software development with Python.

- Strong expertise in Python frameworks, particularly FastAPI(experience with Flask or Django is
acceptable).

- Proficiency in containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Amazon EKS).

- Solid understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, including query
optimization.

- Experience with building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS (e.G., EC2, S3).

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and source control tools like Git.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of asynchronous programming in Python (e.G., AsyncIO).

- Understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT) for securing APIs.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

- Model Context Protocol/Agentic development experience
