Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with expertise in IFRS and US GAAP standards. This role requires hands-on experience in financial reporting, a deep understanding of global accounting practices with specific focus on the US market, and exceptional English communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and US GAAP.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and enhance financial controls.
Provide guidance on accounting treatments and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
Monitor and interpret changes in accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
Assist in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures across global operations.
Mentor and train junior staff members to develop their accounting skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of X years of experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, with extensive knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
Proven track record in hands-on financial reporting and analysis.
Experience working in a global environment, particularly with exposure to US accounting practices.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial data analysis and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience with ERP system implementations.
Knowledge of tax accounting principles and regulations.
