Senior Network Operations Center Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior NOC Operations Engineer to work remotely for their american team. This role combines the day-to-day responsibilities of a NOC operator with senior-level leadership: acting as an escalation point, mentoring teammates, and driving process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Daily NOC monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex issues.
- Mentor, guide, and share knowledge with the team.
- Improve processes, documentation, and operational runbooks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on problem resolution and improvements.

Requirements
- Proven NOC/Operations experience (mandatory).
- Strong troubleshooting and proactive mindset.
- Knowledge of: Routing & Switching, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, DNS, DHCP, QoS, SDN/overlay concepts, RF and 5G.
- Linux and scripting desired.
- Experience with monitoring, management tools and troubleshooting tools.
- Familiar with life cycle of incidents and ticketing system.
- Familiar with ITIL methodology.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
