Job Summary

Pyyne is seeking a senior-level Data Scientist to work as a consultant out of our Brazilian office. This is a high-impact role for Pyyne as we rapidly expand our Data Science practice globally.

Ultimately, a successful candidate in this role will guide data-driven investment decision making and improve outcomes through improved end-to-end ML model development and deployment. The ideal candidate is motivated to work on a new team and is excited to work in a consulting and implementation capacity with our clients to deliver novel solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and validate machine learning models using structured and unstructured data sources

* Work with business stakeholders in Marketing, Finance, and Operations to interpret model results and refine features

* Collaborate with data engineering to optimize pipelines for data transformation, ingestion, and model deployment

* Translate complex findings into clear insights for stakeholders through dashboards, reports, and presentations

* Ensure model interpretability and adherence to ethical AI practices in a regulated environments

Must Have Skills

* Python (for ML, Pandas, Pytorch),

* SQL (Advanced skills including joins, aggregation, window functions, CTEs)

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

* Strong grasp of statistics (ie. p-values, test power, etc.)

Nice to Have Skills

* Experience working with Financial Services, Business Teams, or Operations at a SaaS company

* Experience evaluating product metrics (DAU, retention, etc.)

* Experience in end-to-end ML model development and deployment

* Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

* Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
