A well-established law firm specializing in workers' compensation defense is seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join its growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Defend workers' compensation claims from inception to resolution
  • Conduct depositions of applicants and cross-examinations of physicians
  • Attend hearings, conferences, and trials (as needed)
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement documents
  • Negotiate settlements and provide strategic legal counsel to clients
  • Perform legal research and maintain accurate case documentation

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in workers' compensation defense
  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in California
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits and insurance policies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
