We are looking for an Engineering Intern to join our team and support our solar performance and data analysis initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Support the mapping and correlation of equipment (trackers, inverters, combiner boxes, strings) using project documentation, SCADA data, and configuration files.
Perform data analysis (Python/Excel) to identify faults, alarms, and improvement opportunities.
Contribute to the creation of interactive maps and automated reports (heatmaps, dashboards, performance indicators).
Assist in interpreting electrical/mechanical designs and using AutoCAD for layout validation.
Apply tools such as PVSyst for comparative performance studies.
Collaborate across electrical engineering and data analytics teams.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field, with at least 3 semesters remaining.
Intermediate English (Spanish is a plus).
Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
Knowledge of programming (Python) and basic data manipulation.
Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL) is an advantage.
Experience with AutoCAD and PVSyst is desirable.
Knowledge of solar power plants is a plus.
Genuine interest in Renewable Energy, Solar Plants, and Performance Analysis.
