We are looking for an Engineering Intern to join our team and support our solar performance and data analysis initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Support the mapping and correlation of equipment (trackers, inverters, combiner boxes, strings) using project documentation, SCADA data, and configuration files.
- Perform data analysis (Python/Excel) to identify faults, alarms, and improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to the creation of interactive maps and automated reports (heatmaps, dashboards, performance indicators).
- Assist in interpreting electrical/mechanical designs and using AutoCAD for layout validation.
- Apply tools such as PVSyst for comparative performance studies.
- Collaborate across electrical engineering and data analytics teams.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field, with at least 3 semesters remaining.
- Intermediate English (Spanish is a plus).
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- Knowledge of programming (Python) and basic data manipulation.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL) is an advantage.
- Experience with AutoCAD and PVSyst is desirable.
- Knowledge of solar power plants is a plus.
- Genuine interest in Renewable Energy, Solar Plants, and Performance Analysis.
