OverviewThe Services Business Development team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast globally, this agile team manages end-to-end solutions for a diverse customer base, combining management consulting with our data assets and technology to offer strategic insights and recommendations.
While specializing in payments, the team also collaborates with major retailers, airlines, and enterprises, leveraging internal and external data and insights.
We seek a Senior Managing Consultant to advance our security solutions sales strategy. The ideal candidate is passionate about cybersecurity, fraud detection, digital security, motivated, analytical, and entrepreneurial.
RoleAs a Senior Managing Consultant in Services Business Development, you will leverage your experience in cybersecurity or related technologies to support business growth in these fields. We value professionals who are passionate about data-driven consulting and eager to shape our team's growth.
Core Competencies- Commercial Orientation: Identify opportunities to leverage Data & Services capabilities, including cross-sell opportunities and contracting activities.
- Problem Solving: Lead teams to identify critical issues and develop business-focused solutions.
- Analytic Excellence: Demonstrate strong problem-solving and quantitative skills, guiding technical capabilities effectively.
- Project Management: Focus on project delivery and understanding corporate decision-making processes.
- Client Management: Build client confidence through reliable execution and stakeholder management.
- Communication and Presence: Lead the creation of deliverables and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Teamwork: Motivate teams to produce high-quality work and foster collaboration.
- Leadership: Instill urgency, ownership, and risk-taking, aligning work with team goals.
- Integrity: Uphold Mastercard's values of honesty and follow through on commitments.
- Undergraduate or master's degree with significant work experience.
- Proven sales or business development experience, preferably in security solutions, authentication, or cybersecurity.
- Deep knowledge of fraud prevention, cybersecurity frameworks, and risk management.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Experience managing multiple projects and teams.
- Eligible to work and travel as required.
