Job Description: Required Skills (Must Have and should meet all the below standards for qualifying to this role)
Knowledge on Routing and switching Technologies like IGP, OSPF, EGP, BGP, STP, RSTP, VTP,
VSS, v PC, v DC, MSTP, LACP, VLAN
Experienced Knowledge on LAN SW Technologies like STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, MSTP, LACP, VLAN,
VXLAN-EVPN.
Knowledge of Cisco Routing and switching Platforms like Cisco ISR 800/1900/2900/3900/4000
Series routers, ASR 1000 , Cat 6500, 6800, 4500, 3850.
Experience in installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting and/or Network solution
designing of Cisco routers and switch
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, ability to communicate technology
strategy and architecture approach to engineers, executives, and Cisco customers.
Strong consulting & client-facing skills to include cross-functional influence, external and
internal consulting Desired Skills (Good to have as value add to this role)
Prior experience of conducting customer workshops, High level and low level network design
experience would be preferred.
Routing & Switching SP Domain - XR, ASR9 K, BGP, MPLS, BNG, Segment Routing
Knowledge of emerging technologies like SDA/ SDWAN/ACI preferred
Knowledge of Nexus Switches, UCS products and Hyperflex
Network automation skills preferred (Python/ Ansible/ Go Lang/ Splunk) Education &/ Additional Certification’s
BE/B. Tech/BSC Computer Science or equivalent
CCNA is a must, CCNP is a plus, CCIE (ENT) is preferred.
