We are dedicated toregenerating land and empowering communitiesthrough education, sustainability, health, and culture. Our farm spans42 hectares (100 acres)with seven natural springs and is located just 7 km from the Atlantic Ocean on Bahia’s Cacao Coast.Half of the land remains preserved, while the other half—previously exploited—is beingreforested and revitalizedthrough agroforestry and sustainable land management. Beyond restoration, our mission includespurchasing additional land for preservation , creatingtribal co-living communities , andfostering spiritual and social growth .Our work focuses on: Education and training Social impact and volunteering Ecology, health, and community development Fundraising and financial sustainability for impactful initiativesRole Overview We are seeking aCo-Founder & Chief Financial and Development Officer (CFDO)— a strategic leader who will bridgefinancial strategyandresource developmentto drive ALUME’s sustainable growth. This role combines the responsibilities of aCFO(financial structure, governance, compliance) and aBusiness Development & Fundraising Lead(partnerships, CSR programs, grant strategy). The ideal candidate will understandNGO business models ,funding mechanisms , and how to alignfinancial sustainability with mission impact .Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy & Governance (CFO Role) Develop and executefinancial strategy, planning, and analysis Overseebudgeting, reporting, cash flow , legal compliance, and audits Managebanking relationships , financial forecasting, and risk control Ensuretransparency, accountability , and sustainable financial structureBusiness Development & Fundraising (Growth Role) LeadB2B CSR partnership programswith private sector companies Coordinategrant application programsacross departments and partners Design and managefundraising campaignsand sponsorship strategies Explore and securenational and international funding opportunities Build and maintainstrategic allianceswith institutional partners and donors Developimpact finance modelsaligned with ALUME’s long-term goalsCommitment 10-12 h/week This position begins on avolunteer basisduring the MVP phase, with a clear pathway toward asalaried executive roleonce funding is secured.
