Job Summary: Be responsible for developing, maintaining a strategy, and managing a Category Excellence Team to source a competitive and cost-effective limited portfolio of raw materials across all manufacturing plants, in accordance with GP policies and procedures, while meeting financial and non-financial targets.

Responsibilities/Description: Knowledge of Procurement:

  • Excellent procurement experience in responsible products; experience working in a matrix environment.
  • Recognized expert in the area of responsibility with product depth and contacts in key supply markets.
  • Strong knowledge of business practices, financial concepts, and procurement best practices.
  • Experience with AT Kearney 7-step strategic sourcing methodology for global sourcing.
  • Familiarity with global procurement policies.
  • Experience with Ariba e-sourcing and project management.
  • Strong project management, leadership, and presentation skills; people management experience required.
  • Certifications such as CPSM or SPSM in supply chain or procurement excellence preferred.
  • Experience in supplier relations management, developing and promoting supplier relationships globally.
  • Ability to engage cross-functionally with R&D, Commercial, Creation, Production, Quality, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to lead globally.
  • Skilled in managing complex projects and leading through influence in matrix organizations.
  • Ability to represent IFF externally and leverage team talents.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, coaching, mentoring, and fostering learning environments.
  • Proven ability to motivate and challenge organizational members.
  • Creates an environment fostering learning and development, sharing knowledge actively.
  • Provides guidance and coaching across departments.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher; over 10 years of experience, with more than 7 years in similar roles. Certifications such as CPSM or SPSM are preferred.
