Moffatt & Nichol specializes in large complex waterfront infrastructure projects and is recognized as a leader in this field. We are seeking a Brazil Business Unit Leader to guide the strategic growth of our offices in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, focusing on ports, marine terminals, coastal, water resources/stormwater, transportation, energy, environmental, and urban development markets.

The ideal candidate will lead the team to:

  • Achieve company and client objectives; enhance satisfaction through effective operations; staff management and development;
  • Manage project resources, including subconsultants and vendors;
  • Oversee project phases ensuring compliance with company and client requirements;
  • Coordinate with practices and regional management to identify new markets and office locations in Brazil;
  • Develop staffing strategies, organizational structure, and manage resources to attract top talent.

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the Business Unit to meet KPIs, pursue market opportunities, develop growth strategies, manage budgets, and foster client relationships. Oversee project performance, ensure quality control, and lead staff development and succession planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in engineering or related field; required
  • 20+ years in consulting, project management, and business development; required
  • Brazilian engineering registration or reciprocity; required
  • Proven leadership in infrastructure projects and client relationships in Brazil; required

Working Conditions

Primarily sedentary with client interaction and occasional travel.
